We love the Easter season and we love our community, so it just makes sense for us to partner with our community when it comes to Easter Egg Hunts! We will be partnering with two organizations this year for their egg hunts:
Thornspring Pastures — 5090 Thornspring Road Pulaski, VA 24301
In the past, Thornspring Pastures has become known for their helicopter egg drops. This year, we will be taking a break from dropping the eggs from a helicopter…but there will still be 20,000 eggs! That is a lot of eggs filled with candy and prizes!
The event will last from 11am – 3pm on Saturday March 31 with the hunts beginning at 1pm in the following age divisions:
- Ages 2 and under
- Ages 3 and 4
- Ages 5 and 6
- Ages 7 to 9
- Ages 10 to 12
Admission will be $5 per person for ages 2 and up! Along with the typical amenities Thornspring Pastures has to offer, prizes will be given out for special eggs. Stay up to date with details on our Facebook event regarding the Thornspring Pastures Easter Egg Hunt.
BE THE CHURCH opportunities — Mike and Tina not only need support with providing eggs and stuffing them with candy (which will happen in the weeks leading up to the hunt), they would also like some help providing crowd control and ‘hiding’ the eggs. We will also be providing our diaper changing station throughout the day. If you are available to help in any of these capacities or have questions about how you can help, please contact email@example.com
Town of Pulaski
Under new leadership and organization the town of Pulaski’s Easter Egg Hunt will look different and hopefully provide much more fun and entertainment than in year’s past. On Saturday March 24 we will gather at Jackson Park beginning at 11am to enjoy a variety of entertainment and games provided local churches and community organizations.
The egg hunt is where you will see a huge difference. Along with various age divisions, each grouping will begin at different times to allow families with kids in multiple divisions enough time to adjust. This year we will also be providing a separate section for special needs children!
BE THE CHURCH opportunities — There will be several ways to help with this egg hunt. On Saturday morning they will need help distributing the eggs in the appropriate areas. We will set up a booth for Northstar to distribute church information as well as hand out some goodies for the kids and families. We will also be providing our diaper changing station throughout the day. If you are available to help in any of these capacities or have questions about how you can help, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
