Each year during the month of December we encourage Northstar folks to rest, renew, reflect, and rejoice! After all, there is already enough hustle and bustle this time of year. So, how we practice this is to temporarily change how we do church.
Rather than having teams of volunteers arriving early to set up the lobby, stage, auditorium, and children’s ministry area, we meet on Sunday evenings! Our partnerships with local churches have provided opportunities for us to meet in their space on Sunday evenings throughout December and allow us to provide simple, family-oriented, and yet Christ-centered worship services. This also allows us to give most of our volunteers the month off from serving and simply enjoy the season with their families.
We do strongly encourage folks to be intentional about participating in December Nights as a way to remain in consistent fellowship with one another during a time that highlights the birth of our Savior!
Childcare is offered from birth to 5yrs old and activity packets are provided for elementary aged students to work on while sitting with their families.
