Easter event promo“Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead!” (Luke 24:6)

We make a big deal about Easter at Northstar! It’s the highlight of the Christian year. It announces that Jesus has defeated death and sin! Through His crucifixion and resurrection, all people may have forgiveness through faith in Christ.

Northstar’s schedule for our church services on those days will be as follows:

  • Community Easter Egg Hunt
    • March 19 at Jackson Park
    • 1:00pm
    • We are partnering with the Town of Pulaski and their annual Easter Egg Hunt.  There will be thousands of eggs available for kids divided by various age groups.
  • Community Good Friday Service
    • March 25 at Pulaski County High School “Little Theater”
    • 7:00pm
    • Once again we are collaborating with several other churches to hold a community Good Friday service at the high school.  It will be a time designed to corporately relflect on the crucifixion.
    • There will be childcare available.
  • Easter Sunday
    • March 27 at Critzer Elementary School
    • 10:00am
    • Be sure to invite your friends, family, & neighbors to come out and celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ!!

Did you know that…

“Eighty-two percent of the unchurched are at least somewhat likely to attend church if invited.” –Dr. Thom Rainer, The Unchurched Next Door

Help us spread the news in the New River Valley; invite your friends, neighbors and coworkers to our services! Pick up some Easter postcards at church and pass them out in the community. A personal invitation with your encouragement to attend has a significant likelihood of someone taking a step closer to understanding how much God loves them through Jesus.
