Missions Sunday 2014

Dave Farris News, Uncategorized

Join us on Sunday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate how God is building his Kingdom around the world and closer to home.  The theme for this Missions Sunday is “Partnership in the Gospel” and we will be giving special focus to church planting.  Being that we are a plant, we want to continue seeing new churches launched, so our Isaac Martin will be preaching the Word to us.  He will be launching a church plant in Floyd in 2015, and we will be one of his partnering churches.  Our annual Missions Sunday is also a powerful moment for guests. They will see our church’s commitment to our region and the world as they hear of our heart for our neighbors and nations.

We believe that God has invited all of our church family to participate in the mission God has called us into. On that Sunday, make sure to take the time to browse the missions and ministry tables that will be set up with representatives who can answer your questions and help you find your niche as we seek to proclaim the good news of Jesus to our neighbors and the nations.

Following the service we will hang around for a good ‘ol potluck lunch!  This will not only give us a chance to connect as a church family, it will also give folks a chance to ask questions to the various mission reps that will be there for the day.  To sign up for what to bring, CLICK HERE!
